Sandi joined Kochis Fitz in 1999 and became a principal of the firm in 2002. In 2007, she was elected to the Kochis Fitz Board of Directors and currently serves on the firm’s Investment Committee.

Sandi began her professional career in 1993 at Ernst & Young where she spent two and a half years as a senior tax consultant in the firm's Personal Financial Counseling practice, providing income and estate tax planning services to senior corporate executives and other high net worth individuals. She has extensive experience in stock option planning and charitable gift planning.

Sandi is a member of the Financial Planning Association and has served on the Programs Task Force for the organization's annual national conference and as a mentor in the FPA’s Residency program. She has also been an instructor for the Certificate Program in the Personal Financial Planning Program at the University of California at Berkeley. Sandi has been frequently quoted in the press including Barron’s, USA Today, The Chicago Tribune, Registered Rep magazine, and ABC7/KGO-TV.

Sandi earned a Bachelors degree in Business Economics from the University of California at Santa Barbara in 1993, the CPA credential in 1996 and the CFP® credential in 1999.
