Greg joined Kochis Fitz in 1998 and became a principal of the firm in 2005. He began his career in 1996 as a financial planner in Madison, Wisconsin, where he provided financial planning and portfolio management services to high net worth families. Greg also developed and taught the culminating Practicum course offered in the University of Wisconsin’s personal finance program.
Greg is an active member of the Financial Planning Association, recently serving on the San Francisco chapter’s board of directors. He currently is a member of the FPA’s National Pro Bono Advisory Committee, which is developing pro bono service guidelines for the financial planning profession. He has been an instructor for the University of California at Berkeley’s Certificate Program in Personal Financial Planning and a contributor to ABCNews.com.
Greg earned a degree in Finance and Investments (with honors) from the University of Wisconsin at Madison. He earned the CFP® credential in 2000.
